Description |
The constructions of this monument are on several terraces according to the situation of the sloppy, environment of the site. The avasage can be found first at the vihara Complex. Mainly there is a courtyard in the avasage. Around that courtyard there are, small rooms (kuti) on either sides, a kitchen and danasalava on backwards. In front of it is variegated with the carvings of the relevant time. The preaching hall, which is in front of the avasage, has been built on 1938. It is square in shape, covered with short walls and there are doors at all four directions. The roof is sustained on the columns which erected on the around half wall. The upper roof is on another four pillars in the centre. Both of these buildings are located in one terrace, one can reach to the other buildings by an upwards flight of stairs. At the top of the old stair there is a gateway. |
