Description |
A stair way leads from the highway to the vihara. When enter the vihara premises firstly appearing the new avasage and preaching hall which was erected in 1930. After that there have been various reconstructions. A section of this building has two storied. Mainly there are three doors. It has covered with half wall and lattice. The roof is supported with the pillars around the wall and four decorated wooden pillars which are erected at the middle of the hall. The preaching pavilion is on the west ward and it has beautified with trellis. The stair case at a side made of wood is connected to the upper-floor. The upper floor is used for library and a store for antiques. Viharage, bodhi and the stupa are situated at a complex to the east of the preaching hall. The stupa there has been completely constructed in the latter part of the last century |
