Yanoya gal palama

According to the villagers there was an ancient road to Anuradhapura from Tiriyaya and it was crossover Yanoya by a stone bridge. Beside the Yan oya village of Kimbulpatiyawa is located on eastward and the village of Wagolla is located on westward and the bridge was connected those two villages. Presently, remains of old stone pillars can visible at the site. There are two rows of stump pillars which erect with 2.3 meter span, and on the top of pillars fixed a set of large cross beams. Finely, large stone plates are laid over the stony cross bars. The surface of bridge was 18 meters long and 2.3 meters wide. Discovered by M.B.Herath, 2012 April.
